Revati Campbell
Convener, Scottish Youth Parliament's Equalities and Human Rights Committee
Role
Revati Campbell is the current Convener of the Scottish Youth Parliament’s Equalities and Human Rights Committee and has been the elected Member for Dundee West since June 2019. Revati is also a current member of YWCA Scotland’s Young Women Lead programme for its third year running.
In her multiple roles, she takes an intersectional approach to inequalities issues, incorporating her own insights and lived experiences. On a national level, Revati has advocated and championed the lives and rights of minority groups. This has involved taking part in numerous events and campaigns such as being a panellist for UNICEF #EndViolence Global Partnerships and Amnesty International Children’s Human Rights Network, as well as giving evidence on the Scottish Elections (Franchise and Representation) Bill.
Background
Revati is currently studying Scots Law at the University of Glasgow. She previously completed an HND in Legal Services at the City of Glasgow College.
