Body Image - Jess Weiner

Jess Weiner is a cultural expert, keynote speaker and CEO of Talk To Jess. Her mission is to change the way our culture represents women and girls. Jess has been helping change beauty standards, one effective campaign at a time. She helped launch Dove’s Campaign for ‘Real Beauty’, as well as the new, more diverse Barbie that celebrates more sizes, shapes, heights, hair colours and more. She’s a firm believer that the journey to self-confidence is not an overnight switch, and says self-care involves eliminating negative self-talk. 

We asked Jess to talk to us about gender inequality and body image and this is what she had to say.
