Professor Angela O’Hagan
Member of the Politics group and Depute Director of the WISE Centre for Economic Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University
Professor Angela O’Hagan is a member of the Politics group in the Department of Social Sciences and Depute Director of the WISE Centre for Economic Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Her academic research interests reflect some of her activism for feminist policy change, specifically around gender and human rights budgeting.
She is a Trustee and long-standing member of the Scottish Women’s Budget Group and the UK Women’s Budget Group. She is also the independent Chair of the Scottish Government’s Equality and Budgets Advisory Group (EBAG).
She has published on gender analysis in public policy, gender budgeting in Scotland and internationally, and critical analysis in policy making.
